Jessica Vaini is a photographer, videographer and school teacher, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts & Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) with a double major in Journalism & History.

Based in Perth, Western Australia, I've been working in the photography industry for over 7 years, with a particular passion for Live Music Photography. It all started when I took my camera to a local heavy metal gig here in Perth back in 2015. At this point, I'd been attending live music gigs for many, many years, however I didn't really know anyone in the music scene, nor had I ever taken a photo of a band on a digital camera. So one day I went to a small music festival, took my camera along with me to see how I'd go, and honestly, I absolutely loved it. It was from that moment on that I knew that this was what I wanted to do.

Throughout my career, I am proud to say that I have photographed some of the world's biggest acts within the 'metal' genre from the likes of Slayer, Ghost, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Opeth, Machine Head, Behemoth, Mayhem, Obituary, Meshuggah, Paradise Lost, Parkway Drive and more.

I've always dreamed to become a full time touring music photographer. Let's work together so that I can make that happen! Get in touch with me via the Contact page above.
